Spanish ReVive

Design Challenge-Modernize Yet Maintain A Spanish Classic with a Touch of Today and the Feel of Yesterday.

This 1920’s Spanish house had some yesteryear compartments for living spaces.  For starters the new homeowners wanted the main living spaces open and on the other side of the house for access and flow. In the new scheme the former kitchen becomes a bedroom and the bedroom becomes a kitchen.  Naturally the former dining room becomes a bedroom and the bedroom transforms into a dining area.  Confused?  You will not be confused once you enter the updated floor plan. Maintaining the original details while crafting an arch entry into the new spaces creates the flow and feel as though it was built like this almost a hundred years ago. The layout and new spaces are now open, yet nostalgic, modern with a reflection of yesterday.
